Do I have to be in Omaha to participate?

The three in-person events (kick-off, mid-point, graduation) happen in Omaha and are required. Everything between is virtual. If you're close enough to attend those three events, you can participate.

That's exactly who we're built for. This program teaches you how to make that transition, from the hiring decision all the way through building systems that don't break when you bring people on.

Do I need an MBA or business background?

No. We start where you are. Our curriculum is built for practitioners, not academics. If you can run a business, you can succeed here.

What's the cost?

B.U.I.L.D. uses a shared-investment model based on your annual business revenue: $1,000 for businesses generating $50K–$99,999, $1,500 for $100K–$249,999, and $2,500 for $250K+. Omaha 100 underwrites the majority of program costs, so your contribution represents a fraction of the true cost. The final amount is confirmed during the application process based on verified revenue.

What happens after the 6 months?

You graduate with a Year 2+ roadmap, a peer network you've built, and access to expert mentors. At graduation, one cohort business also receives a $10,000 growth grant to fuel its next stage. We're designed to break the "support ends at graduation" pattern — you stay connected post-program.

How is the $10,000 growth grant awarded?

One business in the cohort receives a $10,000 growth grant at the graduation capstone, selected based on progress, growth plan, and readiness. It's an investment in the cohort's most execution-ready founder, not a competition — every entrepreneur leaves with systems, mentorship, and a roadmap.

What's the weekly time commitment?

Plan on ~2 hours of program time per week (a 2-hour cohort session) plus 3–5 hours of execution time working ON your business — not in it. This program is built for founders ready to step back from daily operations and do the strategic work that moves the business forward. The three in-person events (kick-off, mid-point, graduation) are each 2-day intensives in Omaha.

We build in some flexibility, but this program requires active participation. If you know you can't commit to the weekly 2-hour sessions, the 3–5 hours of execution work, and the three 2-day in-person events, we want to be honest about fit. Email us to discuss before applying.
